TESTIMONIES FROM OFM UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MISSIONS

BUNGOMA -KENYA

1. NAME: AGAEPTUS M. WAMALWA

TITLE: OFM STUDENT

I Thank God for giving me this opportunity to attend this college

I am saved and working in the leadership of our local church as a Youth Chairman.

I have seen a lot of changes in my life since, I joined this college.

I love the teachers, they are really anointed for this work, and they have really volunteered for this work.

Thanks for our Director, Rev. Peter Opetu, for sacrificing his resources to obey the call of God here in Kanduyi .

The materials I know they will bless our church too.

2. NAME: BEN M. KIPRONO

TITLE: OFM STUDENT

I am born again resident of Bungoma and fellowship with International Growth Centre (IGC)

Oil field Ministries University College of Missions was a timely answer to our fervent prayer. We desired a University college that would offer balanced, non-denominational teachings that are 21st Century relevant. I thank God for Dr.Debrich Jeremiah Acheampong and all his partners for birthing this timely idea of launching this institute in this part of the continent, I am convicted that God is going to a church which their agenda is for the kingdom.

The materials are full of revelation, insight and deeper truths that are touching our live, igniting and stirring the Godly gifts and talents bestowed in us and re-activating us to aggressively possess our birth right and progress into full maturity in Christ Jesus. I’ve purposed to read and study them avidly and allow them to be assimilated into my being that I may comprehend that which God has purposed for me in Christ. By God’ grace I’ve gone through the following materials

(a) Back to basis

(b) Power of purpose of prayer

(c) Crucified life

(d) Glory to God

(e) Equipping for Evangelism

(f) Courage’s to lead

(g) FAP

(h) Walking in our inheritance

(i) Apostles today

(j) The heart of Apostolic ministry

They are so edifying, enriching and challenging us to go deeper in the realm of the spirit, God bless all those that labouredly for the materials and please send us more. We would like to be linked or have joint programmes with other universities abroad.

God has blessed us with dedicated teachers who go out of their way to see that the studies are being carried out. Though they teach on voluntary basis they are inspiring, dedicated and committed to the college and the curriculum. May God bless their tireless sacrificial efforts? I know their names are recorded in the lamb’s book of life God it’s not bad to make mention of their names as well they are: -

1. Mr. Josephat Owiti

2. Mr.Peter Achero

3. Pastor Thomas Opiyo

Students are committed and regular in attendance I believe it’s because of the sound, balanced, anointed inspiring teachings, not withstanding some of them commute for long distance just to attend lessons.

I cannot forget to mention our Administrator Rev. Peter Opetu a humble, devoted, loving and self scarifying servant of God. Together with his wife, Mrs. Alice Opetu, they have given themselves sacrificially for the vision to be accomplished. They give their substance, time, resource, prayers, advice, and attend lessons just to see that everything is in place. God bless them superficially. It’s true the gospel is free but spreading it costs money, all that we need at OFM college includes: - New premises, facilities, materials, books, computers, photocopiers, library etc. It all requires money

Thank you and May God bless all abundantly.

Yours in Christ

Ben Kiprono

TITLE: TEACHER – OIL FIELD UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MISSIONS

KANDUYI – BUNGOMA (KENYA)

The following is my testimony on: -

(a) Power and purpose of prayer

(b) Glory of God

(c) Back to basic

(d) Crucified life

(e) Courage to lead

(f) Equipping for evangelism

(g) FAP

The materials so far that I have gone through has a deep revelation of the word, and I can say that God has used the writer, especially Apostle Paul Galligan to open the eyes of people’s understanding to grow into maturity in Christ according to Eph 4:11, embracing the five-fold ascension gifts to mature the church

We are seeing a drastic change in our lives and the lives and the lives of our students embracing biblical growth and make changes where they have been going astray

First and foremost , is to thank God, because He has heard the cry of people in Kanduyi – Bungoma, The cry of people in Western Kenya, and the whole Kenya in General, the cry of East Africa, by using Dr.Debrich Jeremiah Acheampong and Rev. Peter Opetu’s response to this work.

THE STAFF (TEACHING)

The staff at Kanduyi- campus has voluntarily gave their time, dedicated their lives to see that the University and the students are busy in their learning.

The teachers has given their lives and dedicated their time voluntarily to see that OFM UNIVERSITY COLLEGE stands tall in Bungoma, in Kenya and in East Africa.

The students have given themselves too, because without students, we teachers are cannot teach.

Many of them are actually coming away from the college, as you know they are day scholars, so we count it a great privilege to have these students.

One notable quality of this college is that it has gone into history. In Bungoma, there is no Bible College that has ever started with more than ten students in one term.

VOTE OF THANKS: (i) To God for remembering our people and blessing us with such a wonderful Bible College

(ii) To Dr. Debrich Jeremiah for obeying God, and bringing the OFM University College of Missions, which is part of his vision to

East Africa, in Bungoma (Kenya). God bless you man of God.

(iii) To the administrator, Rev. Peter Opetu, for responding to what God is doing in East Africa with his whole heart; it takes a man of faith to do such a thing. May God encourage you and your wife.

(iv) To the teaching staff, for devoting their lives and time for the school. Teachers keep it up.

(v) To Apostle Paul Galligan; Dr.Myles Munroe; Apostle Don Atkin; Our sister Amy from U.S.A; World Map; FAP –International etc for their teaching materials. May God bless you ALL.
